Нет, не похоже. Не хочу далее вдаваться в дебри аналогий, но обычно за (досрочное) увольнение предусматривается определенная компенсация, а не просто "аннулирование всех пунктов".

Яху делают поисковиком по умолчанию (на определенных условиях), они за это платят:

Т.е., скорее всего, вполне обычная "подстраховка" -- в случае несоблюдения условий договора  предусмотрели какую-то компенсацию. Ну или, как сейчас мусолят в СМИ, пунктик с продажей и продолжением выплат в любом случае.

Но, по мнению мозиллы, условия не соблюдались:
